From the website PC Games Hardware comes a test of the recently released game Batman: Arkham City of Rocksteady, the game that makes use of Unreal Engine 3 (UE3), the graphics engine supports DirectX 9 graphics API, DirectX 10 andDirectX 11 (omitted although the game supports DirectX 10). Game that tested with 10 graphics cards based on various AMD and Nvidia GPUs.
For this review used a computer with the following configuration: AMD Phenom IImicroprocessor X6 1100T, motherboard based on AMD 890GX chipset, 4GBDDR3-1333 memory, 10 video cards based on the following GPUs: Nvidia GeforceGTX 580, Geforce GTX 570, Geforce GTX 560 Ti, Geforce GTX 460 1GB, GeforceGTS 450, AMD Radeon HD 6970, Radeon HD 6950 2GB, Radeon HD 6850, Radeon HD 5870 and Radeon HD 5770.

The operating system used was Windows 7 x64 SP1, drivers: Nvidia Geforce285.79 Beta and Beta AMD Catalyst 11.11a (a few minutes for the new drivers are available Catalyst 11.11b, which bring improvements for this game and CrossFireXmode Skyrim ). Without further preamble here some of the test:

PC Games Hardware‘s comment that the gaming experience in DirectX 11 mode isvery poor with large declines in performance (FPS), so that discourage its use in thatway, which is corroborated by the very Rocksteady. It is hoped that this problem is corrected with a future patch, but by the time it is recommended to play the game in DirectX 9 mode.
